The Deep-Ocean Stewardship Initiative (DOSI) is the world’s largest network dedicated to deep-ocean science, policy, and stewardship. Established in 2013 to respond to growing human pressures on the deep ocean, DOSI was created as a global, inclusive platform to connect knowledge with decision-making and promote stewardship both within and beyond national boundaries. The DOSI mission is to integrate scientific and humanistic knowledge to inform deep-ocean policy, governance, and stewardship by engaging with policymakers, cultivating capacity and diplomacy, and creating community.
